The Windows 10 Scan app appears that it will work, and shows "Color Network Scangear 2" as selected, but when the Scan button is clicked it errors with "Problem Scanning, Something went wrong. This is to a static IP address on the C1030, which I can ping to from the workstation. The "Test Connection" buttom works and reports "The selected scanner is available for use". I installed the "Color Network Scangear 2" tool. When I failed at this, I tried the other direction below. I can setup a network drive on a different computer and copy a file to where I want to scan documents with no problem.Ībove was how I first attempted to scan from the C1030 to the computer. The "scan to file server" setup on the C1030 includes the \\machinename\sharename and a username and password, but it doesn't seem to work.
